ADHD – Connecting the dots & building communities of support
The evidence of leveraging community to address mental health issues through peer to peer support groups has long been established with proven outcomes.
By interweaving frameworks like the CHIME (Connectedness, Hope, Identity, Meaning and Empowerment), MSRB (clinical mindfulness) and therapies like ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) to ADHD in concert with other proactive customizable social interventions that focuses on in person F2F (Face to face) groups supported by digital tools is an approach we are testing to help people better manage their ADHD.
ADHD Action Network is now taking steps to further grow our network, research and pilot more sessions to tackle the crisis that is mental health and ADHD in this country.
The Uk is a leader in the development of:
1. social prescribing (none medical interventions)
2. co-productions to improve mental health outcomes through community-based approaches – so we have the tools to make a difference.
